Some friends of mine asked me to get this game and since I've been watching one of them streaming it for hours, I decided to get it. I usually don't get too excited about fps games since my motion sickness but this game don't only offer fps view but also third person! Yay I say!
So I spent around 15 bucks on this game and have been checking it out for a bit, unfortunately in low quality with this video card. Even though I haven't really played any similiar game like The War Z before, I do think that there are a lot of room for improvements.
Some background history
You could buy The War Z after its release December 17th on Steam, although they did take it off just two days later due to player complaints. There have also been some struggle between this game and the similiar game DayZ with players claiming that The War Z is just a rip off. Other players thinks that DayZ is just a game on a simulator. I guess it's up to you to decide!
First impression
The first impression I got was that the game does have a pretty simple layout that's easy to understand. Although, you can pretty fast see that there are room for improvements and  one of the first things I noticed was the lack of adding a friend or any communication "outside" the game.

So as you can see, the layout is simple with capital letters. There you can find your characters, global inventory, marketplace, community, options such as sound, video and key bindings and also the button where you can log off.
The characters in the game are called survivors, which I guess is a fitting title when you're supposed to survive a zombie apocalypse. You can create up to 5 survivors and the only gender you can start with on your character is male. You can choose between 4 different faces, shirts and pants. However you can unlock more outfits and even the female gender by buying them in the Marketplace with coins that you collect in game.
You can delete and use the same name on your new character as the old one if you would like to do that. You get great stats and overview of the selected survivor, telling you how many zombies you've killed, how long you've been surviving and so on. You can also check your characters inventory which also leads you to the global inventory.
Menu and overview of one of my "survivors"
Global inventory
In the global inventory, you can put items on your selected character or remove items from it to the global inventory. You can store everything from food to weapons there.
Global inventory - To the left you can see what's on the selected survivor.
In the marketplace, you can buy stuff with either in game coins or with Gold Credits which you can get by buying the packages. You can buy Gold Credits in game by clicking the Marketplace button and choose what kind of payment you would prefer and how many GC you would like to buy.
Haven't really checked this tab out yet, I would guess that since the games lack of communication outside the game, you won't find anything of interest there. Perhaps a link to the forums.
As you can see, you can either just quick join a server or you can browse one yourself. You can choose to play on either the US, European or Russian servers. As I mentioned earlier, the lack of communication and a friend list disables the options where you can "Play with friends". This doesn't mean that you cannot choose the same server by browsing on your own.
There also seem to be an option where you can rent a server but I guess that'll cost some bucks.
Quick join or server browser. Disabled to play with friends on the same server.
Server list

In game
Now we're finally in game! Below I'll mention some interesting and good things to know while playing this game.
Overview, safe zone, health bars, sounds, vision, character, chat
Your character needs food, perhaps some water or juice and if you're wounded some medical supplies. In the lower left corner of your screen, you can see an image of a person in red, that's how much health you've got. Around that image you can find two other bars in white; hunger to the left and thirst to the right. If your character is really thirsty or hungry, the small images will turn red. You should always keep everything as filled as possible!
0 HP
If you by any chance gets your ass whooped by zombies or players, you'll lose every single item that was on  your survivor. You'll also get kicked out from the server after 60 seconds and will be starting at the game Menu. Your survivor will then have 58min respawn time which basically means that you can't log on to that character.
Like in many other shooting games, you can crawl, sprint, jump, walk and crouch.
Your character does have some kind of sprint bar, when this one is empty your character wont be able to sprint before it's filled. The more it's filled, the longer your can sprint. Otherwise your character will run in normal speed.
Beware! The more noise you make, the easier enemies can find you and hunt you down.
Sprinting. Lower left corner you can see an orange bar and an image of a sprinting person. That's your sprint bar.
It's simple, the more sound and noises you make, the easier it'll be to get a bunch of zombies after you. Don't let the zombie free areas fool you tho', remember this is a PVP game where some of the players might not be as nice as you thought.
Keep a good eye on the sound bar at the upper right corner of your screen! The more sound, the more red filled the bar will be.
Right now, there's only one map. You can't teleport to the cities and since the game doesn't offer any vehicles (yet) the only way to get around is running. This takes time though and hopefully they'll improve this part.
The layout of the map is good, it's easy to "read" and you see yourself as a huge white arrow tip.
Safe zones
The safe zones are marked with a red circle on the map. When you're inside the safe zone an information box will appear.
You're not allowed to use any kind of violence and you're safe from zombies. It's only in the safe zone you can log off and start moving items you've gathered on your character to your global inventory.
Spawn points
You spawn at random points when you first enter the game with a new survivor. If you decide to logout and in again you'll spawn at the same place as you were before logging out. Although if you log in to another server in less than one hour, you can get randomly spawned from the recent point to 100-500 meters away. This is to prevent camping.
How many items you can hold depends on what size and kind of backpack you have. You can find bigger backpacks and other items at different places. Take a look around and see what you can get! You can stack consumable items.
NOTE: You cannot move items from your survivors inventory to your global inventory if you're outside the safe zones.
In game inventory - You use to start with a flashlight, a can of soda, bandages and a Granola bar in your small backpack
You use to start with a flashlight, a can of soda some bandages and a Granola bar. You'll find a lot of items spawning in cities, buildings, vehicles and some might even get dropped by players. Be careful though, there might be some unfriendly players or a bunch of zombies near!
For the screenshots below, I decided to run to a zombie-free place between the south safe zone and a city called Fallsdale
Picking up a Mossberg
Full backpack
They don't like you and you shouldn't really start a love affair with them either. You can run away from them or fight them. I do not recommend fighting a bunch of zombies with a flashlight. Zombies will hear and see you if you're close or making a lot of noises.
Xistie, a friend of mine fighting some zombies with his katana. I think he's playing with High graphic settings
Discussion and comments
I do think that this game could improve a lot. It would be nice adding and team up with your friends and have some other kind of communication option except for one global and nearby chat. Although I've been reading the patch notes and you should be able to create a clan if you would like to do that. I haven't really checked that out yet.
Vehicles - They should really consider vehicles, I spent about 30min running from one town to the closest safe zone for some days ago, I mean c'mon! At least they should put another safe zone at West.
Spawn bugs - There are also spawn bugs which can make zombies stacking up at one place together, fooling you that there's just one zombie there.
Character respawn time - Even though I do understand the concept with 58min respawn time, I think that perhaps 30min would be enough.
Missions/Quests: I haven't found a single one of them yet. I guess they haven't released it.
The game is fun to play though and they've done a pretty good job with the menu layout, the map, and respawns of items and to prevent players to camp. They've managed to make the day and night graphics pretty good; during nights it might be hard to see where you're heading and detect players and zombies without nightvision.
They've also made the game playable for everyone that has at least 2GB RAM and a video card that supports Shader Model 3.0. This basically means that you don't have to have the most heaviest computer to play this game which is a big plus.
As I know, The War Z is still under BETA and as mentioned before there's a lot of room for improvements. Hopefully they'll be adding more features soon!
Please leave a comment and let me know what you think about this review or maybe you've been playing this game and got something you would like to add or discuss! Hopefully you guys enjoyed my review of The War Z.

Long time no see - Catch up

So, here I am updating this blog once again! It is "under construction" so if it doesn't look great, then it's simply isn't done yet.

I have been playing different games since the last post but also been keeping up with League of Legends. Actually, I recently bought the game "The War Z", a zombie survival mmo. I was thinking that I could make a quick game review later at night, you should tune in later and check some nice screenshots and such!

I am also working hard to decide if I should go with either a Nvidia GPU or one from AMD/ATI. I seriouuuuusly don't know. But this basically means that I've been putting together a new computer lately.
I have also been thinking about making this blog (or maybe create a new one) a more personal blog were I don't only write about games but also about other interests such as music and fan dubbing.

But let's start with getting this blog going again!
Ttyl! (Talk to you later)

I know you guys saw me on SVT

So I'll do my best to start up this blog again! It might be under construction any time soon!

Thanks for visiting. :)

y0 guys!

So as you guys might already know, I've been talking about making game reviews, game play videos and such. I didn't really had a good and "official" name for my YouTube channel or livestream so I finally created ComplementGaming.

Complement is not the same thing as a compliment (see the difference between the "e" and the "i"?). My idea was to create a strong and creative name that somehow could explain what I'm doing and since reviews and such is kinda a complement of the real thing, in this case a game I thought that this name would fit quite well.

You're more than welcome to watch me livestreaming at or watch the "old" streams when the channel is OFFLINE.
I already recorded some gameplay of me playing the game Torchlight, an action role-playing game published by Runic Games. Torchlight II is planned to release this summer but has a closed BETA right now. I'll write more about this Torchlight in the next post so please stay tuned!

Diablo III BETA - Review and screenshots

Kategori: Public

So, as many of you guys might know. There was an open BETA weekend for the upcoming game Diablo III which will release May 15th in Europe and North America.
Even though I haven't played the previous Diablo games before I wanted to try it out!

"Diablo III is an upcoming dark fantasy/horror-themed action role-playing game in development by Blizzard Entertainment, making it the third installment in the Diablo franchise. The game, which features elements of the hack and slash and dungeon crawl genres, was first announced on June 28, 2008, at the Blizzard Worldwide Invitational in Paris, France, and is set to be released in North America and Europe on May 15, 2012, and in Latin American countries and Russia on June 7, 2012." - Wikipedia (25/4 - 12)

Game story: The game story/storyline was very easy to follow even though I haven't played the previous games in the Diablo series. The story is based on the previous two games which tells us about the three prime evils

Diablo, the Lord of Terror

, the Lord of Hatred

Baal, the Lord of Destruction

In the BETA you start out in the town called New Tristam. As many of you might understand, this indicates that a significant amount of time has elapsed since Diablo II. You're about to seek a fallen star that crached onto Tristam Cathedral and the only one who survived was a girl named Leah Cain. She thinks that her uncle Deckard Cain is still alive after the comet crasched and you're going to try and help her find him. This leads to fights in the ruins of the cathedral and meeting enemies that you didn't think you would.

You could choose to be either female or male and choose your class. I do know that some might want to customize their character(s) so I would've liked to see an option so you at least could customize your character a bit more but unfortunately Blizzard has chosen to skip that part.
But the game is about the game story and the game itself so I guess this isn't too important.

There are five different classes; monk, witch doctor, demon hunter, barbarian and wizard. Since I like mage or ranged classes I picked wizard to start with.

Skills: The skills were nicely done and most of them were pretty useful and using them against mobs gave you a pretty easy win. A friend who played as a witch doctor thinks that the skills were really overpowered in that class.
You couldn't choose your own bindings between the skills since each skill had an "original" binding already. If you had two different skills that had the same key binding, you could only choose to assign one skill at a time. In this way depending on what quest you were doing and mobs you were facing, you had to assign the one's that you could find very useful.

Gears and items: By killing mobs, they would drop different items, gears and gold. You could find some of the stuff very useful and the stuff you didn't want to have, you could either sell to different NPC's in town or put in your stash. Gears had differen't abilities and some of them were only for a certain class so you couldn't use it. I only picked up one of those through the time I played the BETA so guess that they're rare. Although I missed that there wasn't some kind of special "class master" NPC that could hand out a quest so you could receive better gears for your class.

You could after a finishing a certain quest "upgrade" or make another item at the Blacksmith's. You could buy items from NPC's too of course.

The environment: In game, the environment were nicely done with effects like fog and such which made it more realistic and harder to see if mobs were close or not. Also, you couldn't really look into a tunnel if you weren't in it. With the sound effects of a monster being close, you had to be fast and attack it if it was hiding inside the tunnel. Almost every character was dubbed, even your own and if you're not the type who likes to read I guess that you would find it very useful. Anyhow, it made it a lot more realistic.

NPC (Non-player character): I really liked the idea about the NPC's talking to eachother if you stood close to them, giving you more information about what have happend and their own thoughts and feelings as citizens. You could get pretty good information about the storyline in this way. There were also characters in game that would follow you (or you them) depending on the different quests. Your own character did talk to the different characters in game as well so it was easy to follow conversations. Also, the characters would fight against enemies if they were close.

EXP and levels: Killing mobs and finisihing quests would give you EXP. I'm not quite sure what Diablo 3's highest level will be but sources says.

Level 30 - Normal Difficulty
Level 50 - Nightmare Difficulty
Level 60 - Insane Difficulty

Hot keys: Something I missed here was the ability to move with WASD instead of your computer mouse. Although this might not be a big problem for people who are used to play games where you have to move with your computer mouse but might be a bigger problem for gamers who plays a lot with WASD or the arrow keys. Otherwise it was pretty easy to use and most of the key bindings were like the "normal" one's; (I) for Inventory, (M) for map and so on. Read more about the skill bindings on "Skills".

Summarize - My own thoughts after playing the Diablo III BETA

Actually, I thought it would be more complicated and harder but on normal difficulty, it wasn't. I do think that they made the skills a bit overpowered and they should at least give more unskilled Diablo players some challenge. I do think that it seems to be a pretty awesome and fun game and the storyline is pretty exciting. I liked the idea of primary skills because this would make you really think about what kind of skills you really need in different situations.

So am I going to pre-purchase this game?

My answer is: No. This is simply because I would like to play the previous games first although I might buy this game later on. I've heard that Blizzard usually don't make too complicated games. I would guess that this is because they want as many as possible to be able to play the game and in this way, they'll earn a lot of money.

And also for the big Diablo fans out there, Steelseries will be selling gaming gears and there'll be a Diablo III computer mouse. This computer mouse will count how many clicks you have used during the game. This will perhaps give you a bit more challenge when you try to click as less as you can through out the entire game?

Thank you for reading my review of the Diablo III BETA. I hope that You found this update interesting and if you got any suggestions, questions, compliments or anything, please post it as a comment on this update!

Your own flag. You could customize it and unlock different designs

An aura, you could find those in different places.

See that pomegranate-looking thing? That would regenerate your HP (health points) and those were dropped by killing mobs.

See the two different "balls"? The red one shows how much HP you have left and the purple one (which is half in this picture) shows how much energy you have left so you can use spells.

Reminder: Clean your keyboard!

Kategori: Public

I decided to clean my keyboard because most of you guys know that keyboards love to collect dust and other... stuff. I really recommend you guys to clean out your keyboard once in a while because even if you can't see it that well, there are yuck below the keys that you probably don't want to have there.
For you guys who haven't done it or who doesn't know how to do it, you just pull out the different keys and try to clean out the surface below as much as you can. I use air duster which is pure, compressed dry gas and then I just use some kind of cloth to clean off the keys.

I realized that I had some problems putting back space bar; it didn't wanna work properly afterwards. I'll show you how to put it back at the right place if you don't know how to do it already!

Pull out the key, now I'm just showing how to do it on the right bottom Ctrl.

Move the metal part so it looks like this

Now attach the small metal hooks into the plastic parts at the far left and right side of the area.

After attaching the hooks, lightly lift the space bar upwards so the metal part looks like this.

Click the space bar into the right position

Here are some before and after pictures of my keyboard!

After some air duster, a much more clean surface beneath the keys!

So, this is a small reminder that your keyboard also needs some love and care, especially if you smash your pimples by facerolling it. ;)

Random stuff!

Hey hey hey!
Been busy cleaning out stuff from my room since I recently got new wallpapers. I also got new book shelves and wanted to share some pictures of one of'em!

I also made some really nice 8-bit decorations. I do need some more beads tho'!

Kategori: Public

Hey guys! Sorry for a very late update! I've been trying out Maplestory since I'm on a break from League of Legends at the moment; Why? Because sometimes you just need a break so you can find a game entertaining again.

Well anyways, I really like this cute 2D animated MMORPG and have been doing a lot of different quests and as far as I know, there are plenty of them to do in MS. I really like the idea of the different medals you can get in game by finishing different quests and such. I participated in an event quest and collected up to 5000+ excavasion points that you get by finding Ancient Relics, dropped by mobs in game. In return, I had the opportunity to pick either an archelogic hat or glasses - I picked the hat. Oh and I also got a medal that says "2012 Artifact Hunter" Now that I'm already on the subject items, I must say that Nexon has a great way to get money from their players. When you buy an items, let's say a pretty dress or something in game, it's not permanent. It'll dissapear after some weeks. I think that's pretty lame, because I would rather stay with a look that I like than spending 30-60 bucks every 3rd month. I guess that this fits other people better and yeah, you don't have to waste money but if you wanna have an own unique look, then you'll have to. Or find a game where you can at least keep those items permanently.

This is a look I would love to have on my character! That would be expensive to get tho'.

What makes an online game a good one? Question

Kategori: Public

Hey guys! Haven't been that motivated to update the blog but I thought that I could make a small one now. I guess that most of you guys have been playing or at least been trying out an online game.
I think it's really funny to learn new things in a game and in that way, I get motivated to keep playing. I also think it's nice to meet new people and to see what the game has to offer their players and how they have designed the game! Actually, I would really like to play some Maple Story! More about that later.

So, as I mentioned before I just wanted to make a small update and I would also like to ask you a few questions for my next update. I would really appreciate if you guys took some time to post a comment with your answers!

What makes an online game a good one? Is it the community? Design? Game play?
Share your own experience of any game that you have been playing a lot before, what made you keep playing it?
Have you ever quit a game? If yes, how come?

Interview: What do You like to eat and drink while gaming?

Kategori: Public

I like to drink something while gaming, I don't really know why. I guess that you spend a lot of time in front of your computer and need something so that your throat doesn't get dry after raging on noobs. Just kidding though, but munching and drinking while gaming is what I know, classic. It's like when you're watching a movie, you use to get some snacks right? I asked some gamers, casual one's and the best game reviewer from to answer some question about their eating habits while gaming! I myself prefer some kind of soft soda (I love Mtn Dew) or nice and cold water. For snacks, I don't know really, chocolate perhaps! Or some potato chips. But I prefer drinking while gaming instead of munching.

Me with a LO-Carb Monster Energy drink. Looking a bit sleepy hahah

What do you like to munch on and to drink? Leave a comment!

As far as eating while gaming, I don't do it. I'm mostly a console gamer so I'm pretty particular about getting food on my controller. Just last week I played Skyrim from 2 pm - 5am and I took a 15 minute break to eat some oatmeal lol.

What about energy drinks, do you like them and if you do, how much and often do you drink'em?
As far as energy drinks, I don't drink them whatsoever. I think they are terrible things to put into your body.

Thank you for answering, glhf!

Music while gaming

Kategori: Public

I enjoy listening to music while playing a game or two (or more lol). I usually find it pretty nice to listen to fox trax, hardstyle or any other electronic music meanwhile but that can variate. I remember when I was around 4 years old, sitting beside my sister while she was playing Zelda - Ocarina of Time we were always listening to Alphaville hahah!

I like to listen to the in game music and sounds but sometimes it can just get annoying. Especially when you're playing some kind of MMORPG and the audio is on repeat. Meanwhile when you're playing LoL, some sounds can be really effective to hear, to locate your enemy for an example.

So, what kind of music do you prefer listening to while gaming? Perhaps you have a gaming music playlist? Share!

This is a great song I would like to share with you guys. Eargasm!

Happy New Year!

Kategori: Public

Happy New Year everyone! I hope that you had a great evening and a good start on this new year.

The last year have been filled with gaming and I've been trying out a lot of different games, went to DreamHack twice and met a lot of new friends in game. Awesome games have been released and yeah, I could say that the last year was a gaming year! Don't you think?

Stay tuned and once again Happy New Year!

Music games

Kategori: Public

During the Steam sales I bought a lot of different games but the one that I really liked the most was Audiosurf.
Audiosurf is a music-adapting puzzle racer and each ride is determined by the song you choose. The ride will go faster if you choose a faster song and you can choose if you want the song to go even faster with something called iron mode and that will take your ride to another level!
You can download songs from the Audiosurf Radio but you can also pick a song that you already have on your computer! There are achievements too for you guys who'd like to complete those.
I really like music games, before I started to play Tales of Pirates I played the well known Guitar Hero and from time to time I also play StepMania so I really enjoy music games and it's always funny to try to beat your own highscore or a friend's highscore. Let's not forget to complete a song too, of course. I like the whole idea to see how fast you can dodge blocks or hit the right keys at the same time that you're playing some awesome song. Excercising your fingers and see how fast they are, or something like that eh... But yeah! Concentration and how fast do you react? Challenge yourself!
There are a lot of different music games some of them on arcade machines and Dance Dance Revolution is one of the most popular one where you dance and gosh, I've seen some reaaaaally fast footsteps I tell you that...

I also bought Beat Hazard but haven't tried it out yet. Beat Hazard is another music game but the same time it's an arcade shooter game, also determined on what songs you choose to play. As I've seen and heard it has some crazy light effects.
What do you think about music games? Leave a comment and stay tuned!

Here's an Audiosurf video. Ninjo mono (elite) and iron mode on. This is NOT me playing

Merry Christmas!

Kategori: Public

Hey guys, Merry Christmas to ya'll! I hope that you've had or gonna have a great time with beloved one's and maybe you got/will get something great as a Christmas gift too? Share!
Some of you guys might have it a bit hard to read the text on my blog because of the background and the text colour. For me, I actually see the text on the black part in the middle but it depends on what kind of resolution you have on your screen. So, I'll try to fix this asap, get another background so it'll get easier for you to read.
I bought myself Audiosurf the last day and I love it! Gonna try to write more about music games in any the upcoming posts.

Once again, Merry Christmas everyone!

1up's! Got them as gifts from my sister. There're actually candies inside of'em.

Steam Holiday Sale and The Great Gift Pile

Kategori: Public

Steam has a lot of great deals for you guys that want to buy new or old games right now. I bought Portal 2 for approximately $9,75 which is a REALLY great price for such an awesome game. One of my friends also bought me the RPG game Chantelise and I also saw that I had received a Steam Gift: Half Life 2 and Half Life 2: Lost Coast. The same friend got Half Life 2: Episode One as his Steam Gift and he gave it to me. So I have some new games to check out now but really, thank you a lot Tom!
OH! I also got a Steam coupon -50% on any Homefront game that'll release somewhere between January 2012 and March(?) 2012.

Except for that, they have The Great Gift Pile which means that you can play games, complete objectives and by doing that you'll get gifts. This is something I think is really funny, especially for people that loves to complete achievements. I'll have a look at it myself and see if I can complete any of the objectives.
One of my friends is also giving out games he doesn't want that he gets by completing the objectives, I'll see what games he wanna give out and come back to you about it later.

I also asked Tom and Petter to answer some questions about the Steam Holiday Sale and the Great Gift Pile.

What do you think about the Steam Holiday Sale?

I believe that it's a great idea for selling games and attracting loyal customers.

Are you planning to buy any game during the Holiday Sale?

I would if i could but unfortunately i'm unable to do that because Steam does not support my card.

What do you think about The Great Gift Pile where you play games and complete objectives to get gifts?

A pretty smart move by Valve if you ask me. It brings an urge to buy games and complete games to receive gifts such as free games and more.

Are you going to try out any of the objectives?

Yes i will but only with those games that i have.

What do you think about the Steam Holiday Sale?

I love the steam holiday sale! and its fun to work for the achievements to get the games.

Are you planning to buy any game during the Holiday Sale?

yes have bought early christmas presents on the sale. :D

What do you think about The Great Gift Pile where you play games and complete objectives to get gifts?

In the last post some dude commented and was pretty interested in games such as Starcraft II and World of Warcraft and requested more posts about P2P games (Pay 2 Play). I try out games that I think looks funny but I wouldn't mind trying out games if you guys are requesting it, or at least see if anyone else that's already playing the game can tell us more about it! As some of you guys may already know, my sister wrote a post about Zelda Skyward Sword in this blog.
I also have a request to interview Husky, a commentator for SC2 and my plan is to see if I can get in touch with him.

So my question to you guys is what would you like to read/see more of in my blog?

Aw, Sion really got some green hands over there. Planting wards all over.

Best game of the year?

Kategori: Public

Heya y0!

So, it's already December and there have been a lot of new games that have been released this year; Skyrim, BF3, MW3, Amnesia, Zelda Skyward Sword and so on.
This year, I've been trying out games like Dungeon Defenders, Terraria, Blacklight Retribution, Dota 2, Spiral Knights and HoN. LoL too of course. LoL have been the game that I've really enjoyed playing and I've been playing it since last fall. I've made a lot of new friends through the in game life and got to know a lot of them irl too.
I must say that I'm really looking forward to the release of BLR. I must say that Spiral Knights have been a really fun game to play whenever you would like a break from a game that you play often. I haven't played a lot of Dungeon Defenders or Terraria but I really like the graphics and game style in DD.
I can't really decide which game that would be the best game of the year for me. Perhaps LoL or SK... Hmm

Spiral Knights, this is not a screenshot I've taken - Picture from Google.

I would like you to leave a comment with which game you think have been the best game of the year and why? It can be a new game, old game or any other game that you've been into the most during the year.

Attitudes on the different communities

Kategori: Public

So I got to borrow a friends account to try out Dota 2 and I can't really tell you about the game itself yet. I haven't played Dota before and I really felt like a noob while playing because it wasn't like League of Legends. I guess that you'll have to get used to the game play.
Anyways, when I queued I thought that I was going to get match maked with players that were low lvled since my friend was lvl 1, turns out that the players I was in the same team with were really rude and took the game really seriously. So my first experience from Dota 2 wasn't good at all. I'll try to give it another shot though.

This time, I would like to ask you guys about your own experience of flaming, qq'ing etc and do you think it's worse on some specific community and why is it so? Share your own thoughts about attitudes in game!

Team Liquid - Autographs (pictures)

Kategori: Public

While at DreamHack some of you guys might know that the Starcraft II team Team Liquid was there. I took the chance to meet them and even though I'm not a Starcraft player, I thought it would be awesome to get their autographs. So I asked them to sign 2 smaller posters and 1 big poster. I also asked if they could draw a heart and aw, they did! Two of them drew that big heart in the middle together.

The colour from the pen didn't dry fast enough on the big poster so it went all over. ):

Free FPS Game: Blacklight Retribution - Closed BETA - GET A KEY

Kategori: Public

Hey hey hey!

Did you guys enjoy the last post? I did! Really looking forward to try out Skyward Sword myself, although I'm not even done with Twilight Princess (the previous Zelda game).
While at DreamHack I was VIP to Intel's section for 2 days and you had the chance to try out the closed BETA game Blacklight Retribution there. It's a FPS game published by Perfect World.

Some of you guys know that I don't really enjoy playing FPS since I feel like throwing up just after some minutes and when I tried it out at DreamHack I stopped "in time" since I didn't wanna feel ill. I got myself some BETA keys and have now been playing it a bit home and HURRAY, I'm starting to get used to FPS.

The game is beautiful and has some amazing graphics for being a soon to come, free 2 play game. It doesn't really surprise me though, if you guys have been trying out Perfect World, then you should know how great the graphics are. One thing that's pretty boo at the BETA fase is that the European server isn't available so for some people that doesn't have the best internet connection, it might lag a bit.
