What makes an online game a good one? Question

Hey guys! Haven't been that motivated to update the blog but I thought that I could make a small one now. I guess that most of you guys have been playing or at least been trying out an online game.
I think it's really funny to learn new things in a game and in that way, I get motivated to keep playing. I also think it's nice to meet new people and to see what the game has to offer their players and how they have designed the game! Actually, I would really like to play some Maple Story! More about that later.

So, as I mentioned before I just wanted to make a small update and I would also like to ask you a few questions for my next update. I would really appreciate if you guys took some time to post a comment with your answers!

What makes an online game a good one? Is it the community? Design? Game play?
Share your own experience of any game that you have been playing a lot before, what made you keep playing it?
Have you ever quit a game? If yes, how come?

I like to drink something while gaming, I don't really know why. I guess that you spend a lot of time in front of your computer and need something so that your throat doesn't get dry after raging on noobs. Just kidding though, but munching and drinking while gaming is what I know, classic. It's like when you're watching a movie, you use to get some snacks right? I asked some gamers, casual one's and the best game reviewer from MMOHUT.com to answer some question about their eating habits while gaming! I myself prefer some kind of soft soda (I love Mtn Dew) or nice and cold water. For snacks, I don't know really, chocolate perhaps! Or some potato chips. But I prefer drinking while gaming instead of munching.

For now I stick to Tekken 6 BR and Bloodline champions in my wait for Diablo 3 and Tekken Tag 2.

I do drinks energy drinks and I buy around 3-4 per week at home, more if there is a event to attend to, like dreamhack or a LAN party! :)

Do you prefer any other drinks better?
I guess coke will stay the best!

Do you often sit and munch on something when you're gaming or is it just sometimes?
I always munch on something! Munching and gaming kinda goes hand in hand!

If you're going to a LAN, what do you bring with you to eat and drink and how much?
I usually bring something like... money? all the LANs I've been to have been close to the store!

Lately league of legends.

So, when you're gaming what do you prefer to munch on?
I try to eat healthy, so either gum / beef jerky.

What about energy drinks, do you like them and if you do, how much and often do you drink'em?
Monster lo-carb / Monster Rehabs. I drink at least 3 a day.

Do you prefer any other drinks better?
I drink Coffee/Tea regularly too (I'm going to die of caffeine overdose probably).

Just sometimes, but when I watch TV/Anime I HAVE to munch on SOMETHING. I dunno why.

LANs usually happen at my place so nothing ^^,

Which game or games do you play mostly?
I play RPGs and action platformers ( metroid/ god of war, etc ) and some FPS.

So, when you're gaming what do you prefer to munch on?
As far as eating while gaming, I don't do it. I'm mostly a console gamer so I'm pretty particular about getting food on my controller. Just last week I played Skyrim from 2 pm - 5am and I took a 15 minute break to eat some oatmeal lol.

What about energy drinks, do you like them and if you do, how much and often do you drink'em?
As far as energy drinks, I don't drink them whatsoever. I think they are terrible things to put into your body.

Do you prefer any other drinks better?
My drink of choice is a Peach or Raspberry Snapple, or Orange juice with a lot of pulp. Like, enough pulp that you almost have to chew it!

Do you often sit and munch on something when you're gaming or is it just sometimes?
I don't do it.

If I were to go to a LAN I'd bring some Beef Jerky and OJ.

Music while gaming

I enjoy listening to music while playing a game or two (or more lol). I usually find it pretty nice to listen to fox trax, hardstyle or any other electronic music meanwhile but that can variate. I remember when I was around 4 years old, sitting beside my sister while she was playing Zelda - Ocarina of Time we were always listening to Alphaville hahah!

I like to listen to the in game music and sounds but sometimes it can just get annoying. Especially when you're playing some kind of MMORPG and the audio is on repeat. Meanwhile when you're playing LoL, some sounds can be really effective to hear, to locate your enemy for an example.

So, what kind of music do you prefer listening to while gaming? Perhaps you have a gaming music playlist? Share!

The last year have been filled with gaming and I've been trying out a lot of different games, went to DreamHack twice and met a lot of new friends in game. Awesome games have been released and yeah, I could say that the last year was a gaming year! Don't you think?
